Trust me, if you don’t give up but listen, you will get the strength needed to move forward. The truth is that there are many people seeing the same problem and they won’t do anything about it, but it’s only those who do something about the problem that becomes the leader. And so if you are looking to step into your purpose and do some massive fulfilling work, then you need to confirm with God.

Ask God some question and just listen for what he will say. And just move on to take actions, little ones and big ones.

What Bothers You The Most? #LJ078

worried photo What pains you the most about things happening around you may be the fire behind your call. Gideon was stressed that though they had heard wonderful stories about God delivering their forefathers and all, they hadn’t experienced it or seen Him in action in his own time. That was a major concern for him and was also his response to the Angel who called him a mighty man of valor. His complaint was also the fuel for his call.

You Must Become A Specialist Not A Generalist #LJ077

Specialist photo Specialists are always needed even when generalist’s services are prevalent. Hence, why Gideon was still needed though God had actually sent a prophet to the Israelites to tell them His issues with them.

I believe the prophet was a Generalist and Gideon was the Specialist. You must make up your mind to become a specialist in order to fully embrace what God has for you. Just like Gideon, your leadership is needed.

You must push yourself and get the guidance you need to become a specialist. This may not even require you going back to a formal school. It’s important to seek clarity.

Christ In You The Hope of Glory #LJ074

christ photo Paul found his calling in Christ and so he found great joy to proclaim the message about Christ to everyone. The secret that has been hidden for many generations is that message; Christ is in You the hope of glory. Until you find your life’s purpose and how you fit into what God is doing on earth, the sufferings that you go through won’t make sense.

In Colossians 1:24-29, Paul said;

I am glad when I suffer for you in my body, for I am participating in the sufferings of Christ that continue for his body, the church. ²⁵God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you.²⁶This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people. ²⁷For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you the assurance of sharing his glory.

²⁸So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect^[a] in their relationship to Christ. ²⁹That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.

Women Need Stuff. Is that true?

Why do you want a new car? Why do you want the new outfit, the new phone? Is it because you don’t want to be invisible? You don’t want people to push you to the said. We want to be appreciated. Oh, by the way, men also want stuff. It’s just that what we want differs. Our shinning object is different.

What we really need though is to matter. Think about it.

Its important to learn invest time to understand why you are here.

Be Imitators Of God #LJ072

Imitator of God What does it actually mean to be imitators of God? What do you think? In your relationship with people, being Imitators of God means loving from a place of abundance and not lack. This episode is going to help you know how to imitate God as you show up in the lives of the people that you meet each day.

God’s actions are always from a heart full of abundant love, he is never in a place of scarcity. God is usually not in a hurry to get his message or idea out there, he wants to be there present for the individual. What about you? Calm down in your interactions with people this week. Be present and notice how God decides to touch, heal and deliver each day; through you.

My desire is that you be an imitator of God this way.

6 Months is Plenty Time To Achieve 2018 Goals, Keep Working With God #LJ071

canada photo Isn’t it awesome that 2018 is halfway done? I truly hope that you are having a great ride. My sons referred to the statement: ‘time flies when you are having fun’ on one of our trips recently, listen to the podcast to learn more.

I am glad that people are listening to Like Jesus podcast in more than 30 countries worldwide. However, I am always excited to meet someone that says the podcast is helping them. Thanks, everyone all over the world.

I hope and pray that the rest of the year will really be great for you and yours. If you are in the middle of a crisis, it may be part of the plan. God knows what He is doing. God sometimes allows challenges because it strengthens our faith in Him. Like last year for my family, we went through a major challenge of a stroke. My hubby talked about what he learned from the stroke experience on his Bivo Podcast. If you haven’t listened to use this link. I will hopefully share my own experience one of these days as well.

One last thing I want to talk about today is your 2018 goals. You have about 6 months left. If you are truly ready to move to the next level, I believe you still have plenty of time. But if you believe you can’t also you won’t.

What do you think happens when successfully people get to a roadblock? They don’t usually turn around or stay there and cry, No! They figure out a way to overcome that huddle and keep moving. So is there something you can do right now differently? Pls. do. The world needs what you have.
